Medical Records Abstractor
Responsibilities:

Prioritize workload, and plan travel schedule.

Contacting healthcare providers to schedule appointments
-
On-site chart review and/or abstraction of data from medical records.

Input data into a laptop, and send to a secured site.

Providing at least weekly updates and status reports to your Project Manager or Coordinator.
Requirements:

Healthcare experience as; PA, RN, LPN/LVN, RHIT or allied health professional.

Medical record review or abstraction background (1 year preferred); prefer HEDIS experience.
Experience in a clinical care setting. -
Ability to navigate and review medical records.

Experience with Microsoft Outlook.

Temporary position (3-6 months) with flexible work schedule.

Ability to travel to healthcare provider locations with some overnight travel.
