Health Care Excel Achieves ISO 9001:2000 Certification

            Health Care Excel, Incorporated, achieved ISO 9001:2000 Certification after a week of aggressive auditing in which took place in December 2003. “STR-Registrar LLC of Sommerfield, CT, is pleased to recommend for certification to the international ISO 9001:2000, Health Care Excel, Incorporated. During the on-site assessment, the certification team visited three sites operated by Health Care Excel and found them to be in compliance with the international standard,” said Ron Gibbs, member of the audit team.

            ISO Certification is an assurance that a company is dedicated to the highest quality products and service, and has in place procedures for continuous quality improvement in all aspects of the organization’s business.

            Health Care Excel performs effective quality assurance reviews, utilization reviews, and medical data analysis. The company is noted for its use of varied analytical and review approaches and extensive involvement with reviewing physicians, ancillary health care disciplines, and medical care providers. Its goal is to improve health care processes and outcomes, as well as the health status of target populations.
